This is the name given to Enoch when he was transfigured, as the first

fully self-realised person, with full creative power and authority. The

name Enoch means ‘Initiate’ because he was, while still incarnate, taken

up in a mystic state to the highest of Heaven and shown the meaning

and plan of Existence. He founded the first school of the soul and did

not taste death because he was taken directly up to the highest Heaven.

Here he carries the Staff of Knowledge as the Teacher of teachers.

We are living in the most crucial time in human history: the well-known

Indo-European cycle of evolution, lasting thousands of years has

concluded, and a new great cosmic cycle is beginning! This shift from

the old to the new cosmic cycle explains the dramatic events of the last

two centuries of human history! Now we are before an uncertain future

which depends on our understanding and actions in the coming months

and years.

Obviously, in this crucial time of human evolution the appearance of the

Messiah is essential. It is well known that

‘Many traditions have a messiah who is thought will come to redeem

them and the world… For instance, ‘the Jews are looking for the

Messiah. The Christians are looking for (Jesus) Christ’s second coming

(which Muslims also share). Buddhists are looking for Maitreya

Buddha’s appearance on Earth. Hindus are looking for the coming of

Kalki, the final avatar of Vishnu. Taoists look towards the coming of Li

Hong, a messianic figure. In Zoroastrianism they are looking for a savior

figure in Saoshyant. And in Bábism they are looking for “He whom God

shall make manifest.” And if it is not a spiritual figure, it is perhaps a

saving political figure, the State, a tech guru, a Singularity event, or

something or someone else which will save us from our misery, our

problems, our mortality, and will begin a new age in human history.

The question of the coming Messiah is extremely subtle, sensitive and

crucial for our time. We have many concepts (and expectations) for the

coming of the Messiah. All of them are strategic for the respective

traditions and reflect the essence of our time the new cosmic order which

has to come! This is why it is very important to clarify the concepts of the

Messiah and to prepare ourselves for His/Her Coming! This is the
